Esse é um álbum que eu gostaria de ter postado a mais tempo.
Primeiramente, para quem não conhece, vou apresentar a cantora canadense Lisa Lougheed, que possui diversos trabalhos na área da música, mas ficou realmente conhecida por cantar na série animada dos anos 80, 'The Raccoons''. Não cheguei a assistir o desenho, mas só de ouvir suas músicas e de ver alguns trechos da série, já traz uma forte nostalgia de uma época em que não se viveu.
Lisa nasceu em Etobicoke, Ontario no Canadá. Desde os 17 anos vem trabalhando em séries de TV usando sua voz, em 1988 foi o seu ano e dessa forma ela se tornou conhecida mundialmente cantando 'Run With us' tema principal da série animada 'The Raccoons'' com o single que lançou no final de 1987, assim ganhando a nominação de vocalista mulher mais promissora de 1989.
Nos anos 90 ela se casou, mas já se divorciou e está morando em Ann Arbor, Michigan, a união deu resultado a um filho chamado Jared Rutledge, nascido em 1994.
The Raccoons
O álbum 'Evergreen Nights' traz uma sensação muito boa, nostalgia pura, pra quem viveu e pra quem não viveu a época, eu não vivi pois tinha acabado de nascer, haha.
Mas então, todas as faixas merecem sua atenção, pois são muito bem interpretadas e de grande qualidade. A música POP dos anos 80 é muito forte e esse álbum mostra isso, com grande carga de inocência e de sentimentos nostálgicos desde a primeira faixa até a última.
O grande sucesso 'Run With us' vem acompanhado de faixas magistrais como 'Ain't no planes', que é a minha favorita, depois vem 'Stop the clock', com um grande refrão, 'Here I go again' e 'Growing up' mais animadinhas, 'All Night long', que é um dueto vocal de chorar, 'Hold back tomorrow', enfim,
Vale muito a pena conhecer, traz algo bom pra todos, e é disso que todos precisam nesse mundo de hoje em dia não é? É engraçado notar as prioridades da música Pop de antes e as de hoje em dia, o que são dispostas a passar pra quem está escutando. Eu espero de coração que curtam esse álbum, é isso ae ! Os Raccoons me parecem muito simpáticos. Eu curti. Quanto a Lisa, eu conheço muito pouco... Me lembre de ouvir esse álbum quando estiver com você.
